The original 60-year-old 2x3 inch black and white print was made on a semi gloss paper with a grainy surface.

After scanning and retouching for scratches, stains, faded color and sharpness we were able to produce a clean and acceptable 4x6 inch black and white print. This image has a high enough resolution to yield an acceptable 8x10 print or be included in a photo book, web gallery or slide show.
